Our Team

Ashton Butler
(He/Him)

From Sugar Land, Texas, Ashton just finished his Master's degree in Sport Management with the aspiration to work in marketing for a professional basketball team. He started playing Quadball at Sam Houston in 2021, and since then, has co-founded the Third Bludger Interference podcast. Ashton has had the pleasure of playing for Sam Houston, the League City Legends, and team Latin America.

Naresh Edala

Naresh is a recent graduate of Rutgers University where he was President for two years. He started playing for Rutgers in 2016 and then played for RUQ for one year (ifykyk) before returning to play for the university. He then rebuilt Rutgers Quidditch and is now a Co-RC in the Northeast as well as the Gameplay Director for BAQC. He is a Co-Founder of FastBreak News and formerly wrote and managed the website.

Whitney Ho
(She/They)

Whitney Ho is currently a senior at Texas State University and became involved with the team after moving to San Marcos from her hometown of Columbus, Ohio in 2024. Her role in the program consists of filming Quadball content (subscribe to The Small Hoop) and being the current head of PR and Recruitment. Despite being a non-player due to her title of “Washed-Up NCAA Athlete”, she knows ball. Some might also say she loves listening to herself talk.

Riley Hodder
(She/Her)

Michigan-born and somehow still willingly running around with a broom, Riley Hodder has played Quadball for four years with the Wolverines and the Detroit Innovators. When she’s not pretending to be athletic, she moonlights as Editor-in-Chief of FastBreak News, fixing grammar like it wronged her personally. Fueled by misplaced ambition and blind loyalty to the Midwest, she thrives in chaos (and projects she accidentally volunteered for).

Jack Levy
(He/Him)

Born and raised in New York, Jack attended the University of Michigan where he played Quadball for four years. On the MLQ-side, he’s been involved with Detroit Innovators and New York Titans. Currently Jack writes articles and manages the website for FastBreak News. Outside of Quadball, you can find Jack playing board games.

Joseph Lombardi
(He/Him)

A New York to Ohio transplant, Joseph has been playing Quadball since 2017 with Syracuse University. He currently plays for the Ohio Gemini and Cleveland Riff. One fun fact about Joseph is that his head was born too big for his body (sorry mama Lombardi).

Nathan Podolsky
(He/Him)

From Toledo, Ohio, Nathan crossed state lines to play Quadball at the University of Michigan from 2017-2021. Since then, Nathan has played 4 seasons each with Twin Cities Quadball Club in USQ and the Minneapolis Monarchs in MLQ. If you want to get him to shut up about Quadball, just ask about the virtues of an AMC A-List subscription or about indie pop singer-songwriter sensation Samia Finnerty.

Fiona Wisehart

Fiona played for RPI Quidditch for 4 years, captaining and coaching them for 2. Her most impressive achievement as coach was adapting RPI’s patented Triangle Offense to be used for beater pairs. She is currently in salary negotiations with the Boston Pandas. She was formerly Editor-in-Chief of FastBreak News and wrote articles for the main website and Quidhole.
