8. Bay Area Breaker 87

7. Boston Black Pandas 90

6. Carolina Reapers 101

5. Texas Hill Country Heat 114

8. Breakers

Hailing as the premier representatives of the Western region, Bay Area Breakers exhibit a robust, physical style of play. Their encounters with high-level opponents like Reapers, Boom Train, and TCQC have been tightly contested, hinting at their potential to upset any team save for maybe the Warriors. However, a setback against the Seattle Sirens underscores their susceptibility to an early exit.

Duran Allison is one of the most effective and intelligent beaters in the West. His arm will determine how far the Breakers will at Cup. Sam Harris is their core player, both offensively and defensively. Arguably the strongest dual threat at carrier and scoring threat in the west. Lorena Medrano is known for sneaky plays and bold moves, holding down their beater core. John Judd is a force to be reckoned with as someone who can take a big hit and keep the play alive while at it. Breakers are a team that still utlize a nearly-dedicated seeker in Stevo Gralinski, an absolute killer threat that if given any time near a FR will find the flag which has consistently come in clutch.

7. Pandas

One of the loudest teams to first make the jump to 3max the Boston Pandas boast a wealth of latent talent waiting to be unleashed. Primarily comprised of Forge players, their roster brims with promise, though recent performances have left much to be desired. While their chasers exhibit finesse with the ball in their hands, their inability to convert it into decisive scoring opportunities without dodgeball control has been a recurring challenge. The disparity in their beater game has been stark, often leaving them outmatched against elite opponents. Despite a mixed track record, including a notable victory against Boom Train at the Boston National Qualifiers juxtaposed with a winless streak against Bosny and a shaky start at CCI, the Pandas remain a wildcard, harboring the potential for a deep run or a quick exit.

Injuries and roster disruptions have undoubtedly hampered their stride, yet with a full-strength roster, the Pandas present a daunting lineup. The dynamic duo of Vinny and Tessa stands as the beater pairing to watch, rivaling anyone else in the sport. Should Max and Lulu rediscover their erstwhile brilliance, the Pandas boast a beating rotation that surpasses many club counterparts. However, amidst their quest for championship glory, a palpable sense of tension pervades the team, detracting from their enjoyment of the game. A shift towards a more relaxed, fun-loving approach could prove transformative, potentially paving the way for stunning upsets orchestrated by this cadre of determined competitors.

6. Reapers

Despite not fielding a complete roster, the Carolina Reapers stormed onto the HVI scene and left their mark. This highly talented squad boasts a cohesive roster with considerable tenure, showcasing the potential to outshine teams ranked higher through sheer teamwork. Throughout the season, they've displayed a steady trajectory of improvement into the elite tiers of club. Their fate hinges on their ability to maintain consistent scoring and mitigate prolonged scoring droughts.

Like many top club teams, they closely resemble their local MLQ team, the aviators, minus Ryan Davis but with notable new additions. The Reapers have engaged in nail-biting contests with the top five teams while establishing themselves as a cut above the rest. Their robust chasing game, spearheaded by emerging talents like MY, complemented by potent threats such as Shane and Logan, underscores their prowess. However, their vulnerability lies in the lack of depth in their beating lineup beyond Kody and Celine, potentially exposing them if forced to rely on their third-tier beaters or lower. Their performance signals readiness for at least an Elite 8 campaign at Cup.

5. Heat

Despite glimpses of brilliance, they appear to pale in comparison to their former selves, their potency diminished. While boasting the highest scoring average of the season, their prowess seems constrained against higher-ranked adversaries, evident in their defeats to TCQC, even amidst instances of exceptional performance. As the lone Texan contender with a shot at championship glory, they carry a weighty burden of expectation, poised to make a compelling statement on the grand stage.

Heat comprises an assemblage of elite talents, each championship caliber. Yet, their ascent back to the upper echelons this season has been hindered by close defeats to BosNy and TCQC. Nonetheless, their supremacy within the Southwest distinguish them as a force to be reckoned with. Anticipation surrounds their championship campaign, yet their regular season outings restrict them from ascending higher than fifth in the rankings.

The enigma surrounding Heat persists. Armed with a roster of perennial champions, including stalwarts from the dominant MLQ Outlaws, expectations soar sky-high. Despite their pedigree, setbacks against TCQC relegate them just beyond the top tier. Yet, on the battleground, they exude an aura of intimidation, particularly with the prowess of players like Jackson Johnson and Bailee Renae. While their potential is undeniable, their regular season shortcomings confine them to a ranking no higher than fifth, though their threat looms large come nationals.
