Despite losing key players, including stalwarts of the game, this squad perseveres with unwavering determination. Ad Ojo and Vivi Estrada shine as the team's undeniable stars, guiding them through the shadows of adversity. Middlebury Quadball

Despite facing adversity with one many star players out of the country, the team exemplifies resilience and perseverance—they will never give up. Renowned for their exceptional skills in beater exchanges, they maneuver through challenges with the grace and finesse reminiscent of Yoda's mastery in lightsaber combat. With a team ethos rooted in promise and good sportsmanship, the Middlebury Quadball Team stands as a shining beacon of integrity and skill in the Quadball galaxy.

Virginia Reunited

Providing their own hope, the Virginia Reunited team embodies the spirit of Leia Organa. Much like Leia's resilience and leadership within the Rebel Alliance, Virginia Reunited combines the strengths of JMU and Virginia Tech, forging a savvy force on the pitch. Salisbury University Phoenixes

ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH. Much like the towering Wookiee, Minnesota stands as a solitary force, often overlooked amidst the clamor of the Midwest. With a lineup dominated by tall players, they command attention through sheer presence alone. Mentored by the legendary TCQC Frost, they carry with them the wisdom and resilience of their mentor. Their gameplay mirrors Chewbacca's deliberate pace, favoring a methodical and slow approach that catches opponents off guard. Despite their intimidating stature, they are known for their warmth and camaraderie, earning respect not only for their skill but also for their kindness. As they navigate the quadball circuit, the Minnesota Quadball Team proves that true strength lies not just in physical prowess but also in the bonds forged between teammates.

Michigan State Quadball

Much like the enigmatic Sith Lord Darth Maul from Star Wars, the Brown Bears Quadball Team embodies a tale of redemption and relentless determination. led by determined Captains Fia Boffey and Karsten Assoua, have been training in the hilly city of Providence. The squad has grown with a wave of new recruits, including the prowess of hotshot chaser Muhiim Ali and beater Aadi Mehndiratta. At Boston Qualifiers, they scored early victories with a 3-1 record on Day 1 before being undermanned on Day 2 they refused to succumb to defeat and instead continued to fight, honing their skills in the shadows. Similar to Darth Maul's unsung prowess in the Force, the Brown Bears boast an unsung seeker game, capable of surprising even the most formidable opponents. As they emerge from their quiet period, they stand ready to make a resounding comeback, fueled by their unwavering resolve and newfound strength.

Purdue

In a narrative mirroring C-3PO's journey, the Purdue Quadball Team is a parallel embodiment of the beloved protocol droid. Renowned for their penchant for chatter, the team has quietly honed their skills and improved significantly while evading the spotlight. With a meticulously crafted set offense reminiscent of C-3PO's precise communication protocols, they execute plays with remarkable efficiency. Their beaters possess a strategic acumen akin to setting up plays for their chasers, much like C-3PO orchestrating maneuvers for the Rebel Alliance. Despite their understated presence, Purdue’s recent nail-biting match against Michigan at the Falcon Cup showcases their potential to rise to prominence, much like C-3PO's pivotal role in galactic events despite his humble beginnings.

Baylor

Like the enigmatic bounty hunter Boba Fett from the Star Wars universe, the Baylor University Quadball team operates with a sense of mystique and prowess as they traverse the country in pursuit of victory. Resonating with Boba Fett's lone wolf persona, the team finds strength in their independence, relishing the opportunity to play outside the shadow cast by the dominant teams of the southwest region. With a roster characterized by their ferocious female chasers, adept at carrying the ball with finesse, and bolstered by a cadre of youthful beaters under the guidance of a seasoned veteran, Baylor embodies the essence of Boba Fett's resourcefulness and adaptability. Emerson College Quadball

Although they lack the reds eyes, the Emerson team still embodies the spirit of Cad Bane. Known for their hard-hitting style and relentless vigor on the pitch, they are akin to the notorious bounty hunter. However, much like Bane, they are still in the process of honing their strategy, often relying on sheer determination rather than a well-defined game plan. With a penchant for running and gunning, they mirror Bane's penchant for action-packed maneuvers. Yet, their defensive prowess leaves much to be desired, reminiscent of Bane's occasional vulnerabilities. Despite these challenges, their raw energy and fearless approach make them a force to be reckoned with on the pitch.

University of Vermont Quadball

In a galaxy of Quadball competition, the University of Vermont Quadball Team shines brightly as the Rey of the sport. Much like Rey's journey from humble beginnings to becoming a beacon of hope, the Vermont team, predominantly comprised of female athletes and newcomers, embodies resilience and untapped potential. With two towering keepers adept at both offense and defense, they stand as formidable shot blockers, akin to Rey's prowess in overcoming obstacles. Their beaters exhibit a physicality reminiscent of Rey's strength and determination, disrupting opponents with their relentless energy. Clad in vibrant tie-dye jerseys, they bring a sense of unity and uniqueness to the pitch. Despite being a legacy team on the ropes, Ball State finds their Qui Gon, drawing inspiration from players like Emrick, a towering presence unafraid to utilize his size to dominate the field. Guided by the leadership of Keith, alongside Leah, their captain, and a third-year beater with a strategic flair reminiscent of Ben Schlueter, the team navigates the challenges with resilience. Moreover, the emergence of rising talent like Kenny Moore adds a promising dimension to their lineup, signaling a period of evolution and growth. Much like Obi-Wan's journey, the Ball State Quadball Team's path is marked by perseverance, strategic prowess, and the emergence of new heroes in the face of adversity.

Marquette Golden Eagles

The Marquette team embodies the spirit of transformation akin to Ashoka from Star Wars. Led by three formidable women and boasting a roster packed with law school players, the team reflects Ashoka's journey of growth and empowerment. Much like Ashoka's emergence as a skilled and courageous Jedi, Marquette's standout female seeker shines brightly amidst the competition, showcasing exceptional talent and determination. Despite facing challenges and being underestimated, the Marquette Quadball Team stands poised to defy expectations, much like Ashoka's impact on the Star Wars universe.

UCLA

In a galaxy far, far away, the UCLA Quadball Team emerges as the Mandalorian of the tournament scene. Much like the enigmatic bounty hunter, they embody a unique blend of seasoned veterans and eager newcomers, creating a formidable force on the quad. Confined mostly to the Western region, they've honed their skills against a limited pool of adversaries, but now they're ready to unveil their prowess to unfamiliar teams beyond their usual stomping grounds. With a majority of the roster experiencing their inaugural season, their growth since the fall has been nothing short of remarkable, akin to the Mandalorian's evolution as a character throughout his journey. Among the standout players to watch are Becky Nakagawa, a seasoned beater and team president, alongside promising rookies Matthew Wong and Mandy Baquir. Renowned for their hard-hitting style of play, the UCLA Quadball Team is poised to leave an indelible mark on the tournament, much like the Mandalorian's iconic presence in the Star Wars universe.
